Why this space exists
Independent software practice
Volodymyr Tartynskyi
@vosi@community.vosi.dev
Vosi Workshop is a shared space for curious developers who care about independent software practice, useful tools, and considered judgment grounded in real work. It is for people making, maintaining, studying, and explaining software across the many ordinary decisions that shape a technical practice.
Here, members share working notes, techniques, tools, questions, references, and honest accounts of what has or has not worked. The emphasis is on concrete experience and useful context rather than constant novelty or performance. A good contribution can be a small discovery, a difficult tradeoff, a thoughtful critique, or a link that deserves attention.
Independent ownership matters because the space should remain a durable home for these exchanges rather than an audience assembled by an algorithm. The chronological thread makes the relationship between ideas and people visible over time. Volodymyr Tartynskyi hosts the workshop, publishes the starting perspective, and helps keep the space useful, open, and grounded in the practice of software.
